I received my STRENGTH key from a friend when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 29. My son wasn’t even a year old and I knew I had a long road in front of me. After nearing the end of my treatment we discovered I had Stage IV Metastatic Breast cancer.
At 31, I have adjusted to my new normal as a Mom, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Friend, and 3rd grade teacher that finds the STRENGTH to get out of bed each day and live my life. Today I am passing on my STRENGTH key to a fellow teacher who was diagnosed and I hope this key can give her STRENGTH!
