In March, 2015, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Through it all, my family and friends have provided me with love and support that helped me make it. But nothing touched my heart as much as the special "Ninja" key that my cousin sent me.
We had a joke that my Ninja powers helped me accomplish amazing feats, and that they would help me get through my battle with breast cancer. Now, more than a year later, I have finished my treatment and am focusing on putting my life back together. Sadly, I am now passing the key to her, as she has now received the same diagnosis. I know that her Ninja powers will come through for her and give her strength through it all. Of course they will! We are family! We are Ninja!!
