Two years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I called a friend who had also been diagnosed for support and encouragement at the scariest time of my life. She brought me a bracelet that a friend had given to her shortly before she started chemo. I wore it throughout my bout with chemo and I cherished it.
I will be passing it along to someone else one day because 1 out of 9 women are diagnosed in their lifetime.
