Social Media and Influencer Manager 

Position Overview:

The Social Media and Influencer Manager is responsible for managing the execution of social media and influencer campaigns to support the growth and brand awareness of The Giving Keys. You will be tasked with writing copy and creating content on social media platforms as well as assisting with email newsletters. This role will help craft the heart and voice of our company on all social media platforms, including writing strategic content for each specific channel in a manner that is aligned with the greater goals of the marketing department. 

You are also responsible for managing the influencer and affiliate marketing program to expand our digital presence and scale our influencer seeding strategy.

This position interacts with multiple departments throughout TGK, so you should be comfortable communicating ideas and concepts with senior team members to receive feedback throughout the design process. This position reports directly to the Director of eCommerce and Marketing. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Draft and schedule organic content across all social accounts, respond to customer feedback, plan influencer initiatives, manage timelines and budgets, organize briefs, and help ensure overall campaign success
  • Work alongside the Founder and Director of eCommerce and Marketing to lead the direction and execution of social media content and influencer marketing campaigns
  • Create engaging social content across core social media channels driving sales, and promoting quality community growth
  • Execute, measure, and optimize social strategies across key channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and Twitter
  • Lead community management to engage, grow, and support our customer community
  • Monitor channel KPI results to optimize content and campaigns; measure results by analyzing key metrics for engagement rate, follower growth, impressions, likes, and shares, then bring suggestions to amplify content across channels
  • Craft partnerships with social media influencers and content creators who can drive sales and increase overall brand awareness
  • Support management of influencers to ensure all products are shipped, deliverables are met, content is delivered, ensure campaign and messaging are executed correctly and on time
  • Stay up to date with industry emerging trends, influencers, creators, and partners across platforms to make compelling and engaging influencer content
  • Manage, optimize and maintain a strong influencer database portal
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be located in California
  • 3-4 years of experience in influencer marketing and social media
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok and other social media best practices
  • Experience using social media and influencer tracking tools and platforms such as Later, ShareASale, Google Analytics, Canva, and more
  • Basic understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Experience in e-commerce or retail is a plus
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and superior organizational and time management skills
