I have a FAITH key - it was given to me by my sister-in-law after her grandmother passed away in April of 2013. She had been fighting a battle with cancer, but died with no regrets and those who loved her around her most. So after her fight was over, Amy passed the key to me in June because my son was diagnosed with severe scoliosis.
In August of 2013, my son had spinal fusion surgery to correct the curvature in his back. The surgery is very long and intense, and as any mother will tell you, one of the hardest things about being a mom is watching your child be in so much pain.
Months have passed and my son is doing really well. Although the complete recovery time is six months, he has been cleared by his doctor to begin most of his regular activities again. It's time to pass along my key... I am sending it to a friend that is going through a rough divorce.
