My daughter gave me my key which was inscribed with the word "Faith." My husband had gone from being the healthiest person I had ever known - he was not on any medication - to being the sickest person I had ever known. He had a massive stroke and 4 aneurisms ruptured in his brain. That was followed by kidney failure, liver failure, and pneumonia many times over. He spent 9 months in the hospital. That was 2 years ago and he is almost completely well. He has some cognitive loss but we are so grateful for what we have. If you saw him you would not know that he'd had a massive stroke.
My neighbor is a nurse and she got me through so many hard times while my husband was sick. She just found out that her husband had been having an affair (they have been married 22 years), and then her wonderful father died. She was so devastated. It was the first time I thought that someone needed that "Faith" key more than I did, so I gave it to her a week ago. I hope it helped her as much as it helped me.
