I received my key from a dear friend when my faith had been shaken. I have had rheumatoid arthritis since the age of 9. After 36+ surgeries and fighting to continue to walk I had a very hard decision to make. In Jan 2016 I had a total right leg amputation. It was a very difficult time, but 4 months later I am doing better now than I have in two years. Although there have been many challenges I do not regret my decision. My FAITH is what got me through all of this and I wore my key often.
A close friends granddaughter has been fighting for her life for the last two years. Meghan was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 14. She received a cored blood transplant and is leukemia free. Unfortunately the treatment removed the cancer, but has destroyed her digestive system. It is an understatement to say that her FAITH has been shaken. The doctors are not sure how to even proceed with further treatment. I have given my key to Meghan in hopes that she doesn't give up and keeps fighting.
