My key was given to a colleague. He is an amazing guy. Not only is he a "tough guy" as a strength and conditioning coach, but also a tender caregiver to his beautiful wife and daughter.
Every day he embodies the word THRIVE with his passion for his job and his equal passion for his family and self. The word THRIVE to me means excellence at all parts of your life, including self, family, and community through the good times and bad. He has not only shown he can THRIVE when things are great (he went to the Final Four with our basketball team), but also the resilience to THRIVE when things are challenging (he almost lost his wife and daughter in a serious car accident). Handy definitely deserves to have the THRIVE key!
