From One Mother to Another

Yesterday was a tough day for my 13 year old daughter. She was going on Day 5 of being sick, but she wanted to go to school because she was worried about all the school work she was missing. At drama practice, the mother of one of her good friends noticed that she wasn't doing so well. In fact, my daughter had overdone it so much that she began to cry. My daughter is not the crying type. This mother gave my daughter the TLC that she would have given her own daughters: she drove her home, gave her some homemade soup, and called me as I drove home from a conference. Today, while caring for my daughter at home, I made some homemade granola, a card, and will give this wonderful woman the GRATEFUL key.
