Last year I received a JOY necklace from a dear friend as a Christmas gift. My eyes got a bit teary because Joy is the name of another dear friend’s daughter who has severe autism, which my friend did not know. JOY was the key she picked for me. I loved this key so much, I wore it almost everyday, it gave me joy and made me proud to tell the story because everyone always asked about it. Recently Joy's mother has been going through a very very difficult time, I flew out to see her this weekend to comfort her and thought that this was the opportunity to give her some JOY in her life to help balance out all of her obstacles. I know that when she wears this it will give her a reason to keep smiling, to be JOYful, and have some inner peace.
