I bought my giving key bracelet that read grateful after my mom passed away last December. I was grateful that I had such an amazing support system of family and friends, a job, a roof over my head, etc. Every time I wore it it made me feel thankful.
Yesterday, I gave the bracelet to my friend Rena, who just graduated with her nursing degree. We have known each other since we were about 13 years old. (We'll both be turning 29 December 20 & 21st.) She is getting married next August, but moving across the country from South Carolina to Colorado at the end of this month. Yesterday was the last time I was going to see her for probably a little while... I wanted her to have the bracelet. She posted the attached picture yesterday night. Even though we're going to be hundreds of miles away from each other, I know every time she wears the bracelet, she'll think of the amazing support system she has too!
