The Strongest Person I Have Ever Met

One day, I was in a designer store buying a pair of jeans and I saw many keys dangling next to the cash register. I asked the clerk what "The Giving Keys" were, and she told me that the key goes to someone in need and the proceeds go to charity. I thought it was a cute idea, so I looked it up online and fell in love with these keys and what it meant to wear one. I was in another department store with my sister as we came across these keys, and she started looking at them and then I knew that I needed to get one for her.
Knowing the story behind the necklaces, I knew exactly which key I had to get for her. STRENGTH. Within our family, my sister is known for crying pretty easily. Which is kind of ironic you would think that this would show her weakness, but even though she cries a lot, she is by far the strongest person I have ever met.
Our parents got divorced when we were in high school and that is not easy for any teenager. Over the years our relationship with our dad diminished, and it took a harder toll on my sister. I won't go in to details, but this has been the hardest thing that we have had to go through, and even though there were tears, I think the tears made her stronger. I have always been the one that did not seem to care about the issues with our father, and she was the one that cared, and somehow seemed to be punished for it. She went to college to pursue medicine and was constantly determined to do the best she could. She went through college dealing with the issues in our family and pushed through to work her hardest in school. My sister deals with a lot of things in her life but still can show her strength without even trying.
I give my sister this key so that she is reminded of how strong she really is, and to show her that people recognize her strength.
