Strength In The Classroom

I'm a kindergarten teacher in Palos Verdes, CA. I was first introduced to the giving keys through my former student Louisa Wendorff. I have a student, Sophia, who has a grandfather terminally ill with cancer. This year, her grandmother (his wife) has volunteered multiple times in my classroom. I've watched her be needed by these sweet 5 year olds - and see a difference in her emotional state. How wonderful to be needed for these small children as she nurses her ill husband. I gave her a giving key at our Valentine party - STRENGTH. She is my inspiration & was so touched by the key and its message. Thank you - what a gift to give. I'm forever changed by this experience.
