An Act Of Kindness

Late in the winter of my seventh grade, I was at the hospital one day and I saw a girl there about my age, and she was in a wheelchair and as I assume had some horrible disease. She was all I thought about for the next while at home and at school. I wanted to know some way to help her.
My friends and I decided to have a bake sale and every penny that we earned would go to her and that hospital to help the sick kids. After all the hard work we put into this, we made $275 and the smile never left our face. The three of us all gave our money to the hospital and got certificates and a handwritten letter from the CEO.
Our Pay It Forward act inspired many around town and I never regretted a minute, we were also featured in our towns' newspaper.
