October 2014, the 36 year old me was diagnosed with breast cancer. It came as quite a shock, being so young & having no family history. I did my best to be strong and understand that the more positive I was, the better I might respond to the surgery, 3months of chemo, year of herceptin, & 6 weeks of radiation. My friend gave me the STRENGTH key as a reminder to be strong! A few weeks ago a friend was diagnosed as well & I felt it was time to pay it forward. I hope it brings her the strength it brought me!
