I have a friend that I have had the privilege to know for a long time. When she was in her early forties she got the news that she had aggressive breast cancer. Without going into all the details lets just say she has been through way more than someone her age should. Losing all her hair, her ability to taste, smell, sleep, her ability to work and to just feel good. Those are little things. But she made it through only to have it return. It came back with a vengeance. Only this time her breast cancer became cancer in her liver. But she continues to live her life. She inspires so many to not allow this horrible disease take that away. She has had so many surgeries and so many other health problems. BUT she still continues to JUST LIVE! And live with as much gusto and promise as she can.
I gave this key to her with HOPE... Hope that she will have continued hope for a better tomorrow and a cure one day.
