30 years ago, a beautiful baby girl was born to two people who love each other so much. They were young, full of faith and adventure and set out to be home missionaries in a small town in Wyoming. No money, very few possessions, but hearts FULL of love. Kristy LeeAnn is the first born of five amazing children - she was the beginning of what made this couple a real family. She is the only girl, so this created great planning and leadership skills at an early age. Her life and her heart shine every single day as she serves and LOVES the elderly, the mentally handicapped, her friends and family and really every person who knows her. I can't express the love in my heart for the beautiful and amazing young woman she is.
I Corinthians 13 is one of my favorites and I feel it captures my baby girl: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
