Her Love is Contagious

This Christmas our staff wanted to present a Giving Key to our incredible employer and friend, Misti. Discovering The Giving Keys and what their story is about describes who she is perfectly. When asking one another which key to give Misti we were back and forth on several because her FAITH is inspiring, she brings JOY to everyone around her, her LOVE for people is contagious, she is BRAVE, ENDURING, and we could go on. But for the past few years Misti has had the desire to donate one of her kidneys to someone that was in need. An older man that had been on dialysis for most of his life and that Misti has known for many years turned out to be the perfect match. After a successful surgery he now has a functioning kidney and is on his way to a full recovery thanks to Misti. Her strength to go through with such a selfless act and to expect nothing in return admired us all and that is why we chose "strength". She has shown us that it is not just about the act of giving but it is the unconditional love behind it. She is truly an example of Christ and we know her strength comes from Him. We hope that her story will impact those who want to leave a mark in this world just as she has impacted us.
