About a year ago I bought my first Giving Key! I chose Faith as I am a person with a strong faith in God. As a breast cancer survivor He is the strength of my strength.
I prayed that God would show me who to share my faith key with. Excited to give my Faith to others, I looked daily for who God would choose for me to pay it forward with.
As a military family we meet extra ordinary people every where go - my next door neighbor was a very special lady with contagious strength and energy. As God would foresee we both moved to our next duty station and were within 20 minutes from each other!
As she was just settling into her new position she received a breast cancer diagnosis. Not even knowing I was even a survivor she shared her diagnosis with me and I am blessed to be able to walk beside her through her plan for success.
I knew immediately I wanted to share my key with her but as I asked God if it was His choice He said to me yes but not yet. I waited as patiently as I could for the right time and finally close to the end of the chemo treatment God told me it was time. I'm so proud to share my Faith with her and she is as excited to share her key with someone else! I am so thankful for the year I spent looking and seeking for the "right" person and time to share my Faith with and excited to see where Faith is needed once again.
