My Story
I met my bff, Drea days before my first day of college. After move in and setting up my dorm, my brand new roommate and I went to the dining hall to grab some food. While in line I heard a small voice behind me say, "I like your necklace."
When I turned around, there a cute blonde girl wearing hemp too. In that moment I felt instantly connected to her. We quickly became inseparable and had a very memorable freshman year. It was comforting to find a beautiful friendships so easily.
I was gifted the "strength" necklace when my mom passed away five years ago. Drea was one of my only friends who came to visit my mom when she was sick with cancer. Drea would perform reiki on my mom. My mom was so appreciative for these moments of healing.
I was so grateful for Drea's kindness during this time. In the past year Drea has had some personal obstacles of her own and some unexpected life changes. Although it was painful for her and painful for me to see her go through this, I know there is still strength that is needed.
I am gifting her this strength necklace as a remembrance for when she was strong for me and a reminder to continue to tune into her own inner strength to overcome life's twists and turns.
