Beauty In Everything

My kind, loving, selfless daughter Natalie asked for the inspire key for her 17th birthday this past April. It suited her to and I was happy to oblige. She was always looking for the beauty and goodness in every situation. A peace maker that wanted everyone to smile, laugh, be happy and their best selves.

Tragically, we lost her in a car crash in the beginning of August. Shortly before she was eagerly scheduled to begin her senior year. Although not personally given to me, I've taken on her key. To inspire me to live each day to the fullest, and to keep searching for the beauty in everything.

We had a wonderful group of local children who, in line with Natalie's philosophy, took it upon themselves to start a lemonade stand to collect donations for the family. They worked tirelessly, and eagerly... and raised $20k. If that's not true inspiration I don't know what is.

I will be purchasing an Inspire key necklace for each of them. They are a true inspiration to this community, and hopefully countless others the story has touched. Full circle story indeed. My daughter would've been at that stand squeezing lemons each day, had it not been in her honor.

Love one another. Look out for one another.
