I received my BELIEVE key necklace from my daughter for Mother's Day. I was going through some medical testing at the time, so the key served as a reminder to believe in receiving good reports. I was given what I was hoping for: no problem with my heart.
On Saturday, May 20th, I was serving a luncheon at a Relay for Life survivor group. I was introduced to a woman who was going through treatment and it wasn't going so well. I took off my necklace and explained the idea to her. I asked that she continues to believe in her complete healing and asked her to pay it forward when she found someone who needed it more than she did.
She is a teacher working with special needs students at our intermediate unit. Her lesson plan for this week was showing the Pay It Forward Movie to her students. What a coincidence!
