I chose the word Brave last year and embraced it by stepping out of my comfort zone and doing several things I have always wanted to do but was afraid to do alone. Accomplishing those goals helped me see that I had embraced being brave and was ready to pay it forward. I gifted my Brave Key to my younger sister who was struggling with some personal issues and needed to make a bold move that would change her life for the better. I knew she had it in her – all she had to do was take the first step. Change is scary but bravery is empowering.
