I bought the LOVE Giving Key bracelet at my church a couple years ago and wore it almost daily, waiting for the right time to pass it forward. I just went to Lebanon to serve and love on the Syrian and Iraqi refugees and met a young woman named Fatmi. At 16 years old. she already had a 1 1/2 yr old baby and her husband had died. She became a believer and her in-laws told her she had to choose between Jesus or her baby. She chose Jesus.
What incredible faith to surrender to Jesus and trust Him with her child. I was so amazed and inspired by her story and faith and also wanted her to know she was truly loved. So I asked one of our translators to tell her, I would be praying for her and her child and that I wanted her to have my LOVE Giving Key bracelet. I had the translator explain how it worked: that I was to wear it until I found someone who needed the word more than me. I hope she understood and I hope she feels the LOVE of the Lord and of me. I will be thinking and praying for her and hope to see her again ....I know I will see her someday, even if not here on Earth.
What a blessing to see my friend take the bracelet off me and place it on her! My heart felt the greatest joy!!
