I Pray He Finds Happiness

I purchased a necklace a year ago. I live in New Orleans and was wearing my key when I ran across a homeless person. I gave him my leftover food from the place I had eaten at, and had a really good conversation with him.

I asked him what got him to the point he was at. He told me that, after the loss of his mom (I lost my mom a few years ago), he started drinking and couldn't stop. He said he fell in love with the bottle. This, too, runs in my family. My grandpa died from drinking, and my brother is well on his way.

I felt he needed it more than me. So I gave him my key, explained it's meaning to him, and told him I pray he finds HAPPINESS.
