I have a wonderful sister who is giving and kind. She has devoted her life to teaching and shaping the futures of her precious Second Graders at Mount Hope Elementary School. She's a loving mother and "Nana" to her beautiful daughter and four incredibly talented, bright grandchildren. My sister is a survivor of many challenges, and she has fought those obstacles with courage and fortitude.
Throughout life, my sister and I have shared great joys and devastating losses. She is truly my best friend. Recently, we have been talking a lot about appreciating our blessings and recognizing how difficult life is for many people in this day and time.
I'm giving her a Hope Key bracelet for her birthday. I know she will appreciate The Giving Keys mission to provide employment for individuals transitioning from homelessness and pay forward the message of hope, faith and love.
