She is fighting an uphill battle everyday. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy. During one of the final tests, it was discovered that the cancer had spread to her liver and was progressing. The words Stage 4, could have been the final nail in the coffin, but she refuses to let that be her testimony. Every day is a struggle, some worse than others. Chemo has at times left her in critical care. Through it all her FAITH has never wavered. She has continued to be there for her two small children to give the best days of their lives. Their vacations have become legendary.
I gifted her my FAITH key because even though her battle is uphill and painful beyond belief, she never loses FAITH. Her smile never falters. She began a foundation to help others going through chemo and the aftermath. She has shown me a strength that I know I would not have if I were in her shoes.
