I'm giving the key engraved with "strength" on it to my mom. She is already so strong but she is going through a really tough time as she is divorcing my step father. She's trying to raise my half brother (who's 13) while I'm away at University, and working endless hours to provide for her family. She's the funniest, smartest, most beautiful person I know and it just sucks that she has to deal with this person. He is a horrible influence on my half brother and a waste of my mom's money and energy. As I said before, she is already so strong, so this key is more of a reminder of the strength she has and the strength of the love I have for her. There is no doubt in my mind that she will make it through this. Mom, you're my biggest inspiration, my hero, and my best friend. I love you.
