Strength in Love and Loss

This key was given to me when I needed it the most. It was a gift I received from the strongest woman I know. That month had been a roller coaster of emotions we were all feeling. Most of us felt lost, angry and like there was a huge piece missing.

On September 7th 2013, we lost a beautiful minded old soul named Jared. He was such a big part of our lives. His beautiful mother gave me this necklace at a perfect time. Within this key is the word "strength." She lost a son and I lost my best friend and boyfriend. I wear this everywhere I go. Anytime I feel empty I look down and know he wouldn't want me to be upset that he would want me to smile. This necklace gives me strength in any time of need. And I cannot thank her enough for passing this along to me.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It’s a very difficult time in life when things happen like this. Strength is the hardest thing to find in tragity. I would like to talk with you more! Hopefully I can help you through your difficult time. I find it comforting to talk about it sometimes with people who know loss. You can also add me on Facebook it’s under Jessica Webb

Jessica, i’d read about the giving keys a few weeks ago and thought the idea behind it was beautiful. my father passed away a few days ago and i am absolutely devastated and fearful of the future. I needed words of encouragement in a time of despair when suddenly these keys came to mind and then I came across your story. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that time has made life a bit better for you. i also need strenght during this difficult time and am considering getting a key to wear as a reminder. people tell me i need to be strong but that hasnt been helping very much. maybe having the word physically near me will make a difference. again, i am sorry for your loss.
