I purchased a bracelet last year after The Giving Keys on the E! network. I purchased a bracelet with the word HOPE inscribed on it. This is a very meaningful word to me.
Last week I had a few friends over, and my one friend is deaf. He is very dear to my heart and has truly changed my life. He lives my cat Sabrina, who is a very sassy lady. People at the party were not making sure he could read their lips and my friend got discouraged being around a group of hearing people. When I went to check on him, he was petting Sabrina. He said he'd had hope for her, that one day she would let him pet her. I lost it, and immediately took off my HOPE key bracelet and passed it on to him.
