He's Missing Family And Girlfriend.
My niece Deb, my "little sister", gave me this Family key last Christmas. This year I am sending it to my son Brendan who is at boot camp with the US Navy. He's credit short of a college degree and deep in loan debt. The Navy was a way out of lousy cooking jobs, a way to see the world, a way to move on with his life. He called on the 20th and he is really struggling with adjusting to the military way of life. He didn't go in naively, but its worse than he dreamed. He's missing family and girlfriend. He's missing any news of the outside world. He's missing the freedom he had. I pass this key along so he knows his family is here for him and always will be. I love you Brendan.
