I Only Wore It For Two Days!

My HOPE key didn't stay with me very long. In fact, I only wore it for two days! I chose this key because it reminds me to never succumb to pessimistic and cynical spirits that often try to overcome my hopeful optimistic nature. My HOPE key went to my long time college friend who had lost her husband a few years back. She was only 40 at the time, and was left to raise two children on her own. 8 years later, she faced with now having to sell her house, assist and guide her two children through college, and eventually find a new job. Without HOPE, this would be an overwhelming task. She could easily succumb to voice of defeat, however, this woman is brave and self reliant, will prevail. She just needed a little HOPE reminder from a friend.
