Joy

A friend of mine at work has been battling through some pretty tough personal things. She shares with me, and most of the time I don’t know what to say. I just listen. She puts herself down and is so hard on herself. I was trying to figure out a way to get through to her that she is so smart, talented, beautiful, and a complete joy to be around. And then I heard about Giving Keys from a friend who had received one. So, I bought my friend a key necklace with the word “Joy.” That’s exactly what I saw on her face when I gave it to her…through the tears. Thank you, Giving Keys!
