21st Birthday

I will not see my daughter on her bday for the 4th year in a row. This is a big one- her 21st! She chose to go to college very far away because she knew it would give her the best education/training as a dancer. So since she had just left for school shortly before, I was never able to visit her on Aug 30. She graduated in 3 years and got her dream job- dancing on a cruise ship!! So this year on her bday she’ll be somewhere in the middle of the ocean between Alaska and British Columbia. I’m so proud of her and she’s my best friend. I got her a key with ‘INSPIRE’ on it because she inspires me everyday to be the best mom, dance teacher, and person I can be! I’m sure she doesn’t even realize how many others she inspires…
