Passing The Faith

About 3 months ago I ordered 3 keys – faith, hope and joy. Times were tough at my job and I wore all 3 keys everyday for a couple of months to keep my spirits high. Things got better and I began to wonder who would get my first key. I found out that a friend’s husband was going to have a serious surgery to prevent him getting colon cancer again. The friends are in their early 30′s and have a baby who is not even 1 year old. My first key went to Jessica, and it was faith. I told her that she and Kevin needed it more than I did right now and that when his surgery was done and he had recovered, she would know when it was time to pass it on to someone else. I love wearing the keys because people ask about them and I get to tell the story of Giving Keys.
