Facing the Road to Recovery

December of 2012, I tore my ACL in my first basketball game of the season.

My parents gave me a key. It was engraved with the word "fearless." After a long 7 months of recovery, I decided it was time to give my key to someone who needs it now more than I do. One of my best friends since I can remember, Brooke, had torn her ACL at a field hockey tournament. She just had surgery and is ready to face this recovery period head on.
