I bought myself a Giving Key about 6 months ago. I loved the concept of the key as well as the company and what they stand by. I bought a key with the word "Courage" on it. For the longest time I never felt compelled to give my key to anyone. I did not want to give it to just anyone to say that I gave it to someone.
After several months, I had moved across the country with my husband and we had started going to a new church. After a few months, I met a woman who I later found out was battling cancer. As I began to know her more, the strength, courage, faith, and bravery she had was amazing. She had faith that Jesus was healing her and she focused on surrounding herself with people who believed with her that she was being healed. One Sunday, she came to church and stood in the front of our church family saying that she was completely free from cancer. She had been healed! I was so inspired by her faith and courage throughout her journey that I couldn't think of anyone better to receive that key than her.
Honestly, I would have given her 5 other keys with the words strength, faith, bravery, hope, and valor if I had them. She is such a great role model and a great demonstration of true courage.
